Do you live in the Borough of Worthing? Are you an apprentice, at college, in full or part time employment or presently unemployed?

To celebrate the history of Worthing Pier the Worthing Youth Council are holding a festival of celebration at the Pier from 2.00 – 5.00 p.m. on Saturday 11th July 2015.

Part of the festival will include a celebration of the Pier through Art, Poetry and Music. If you would like to take part please complete and return the Entry Form by Friday 19th June 2015.

 The following can be submitted

  • Paintings and Posters of the Pier, Past, Future and Present (A4 or A3 size)
  • Your poems
  • Music that you wish to perform on the pier on the 11th July 2015

Possible subjects/titles for your work could be:

  • singersA Stormy Day
  • Paddle Steamers
  • A day on the Pier
  • Pier Amusements
  • The Great Storm of 1913
  • Worthing Pier fire of 1933
  • Holidays
