Pier After Fire 2

Just visit Worthing Museum between the 14th and 21st February 2015 (note: the museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays) and ask at reception for a quiz sheet. Look for the numbered picture and text clues on display around the museum. If you require assistance then speak to a member of the Worthing Youth Council who will be there to help you. The Quiz Trail should take about 30 minutes to complete.

Best of luck! All correct entries will be placed in a hat and the two lucky winners will each receive a super prize!

About the Quiz Trail

The trail quiz can be completed any time between the 14th and 23rd February 2015. Copies of the quiz worksheet can be obtained from the reception area at Worthing Museum.

The quiz relates covers the period from 1862 when the pier was opened to the present day. No previous knowledge is required as all the information you need to answers the questions is displayed in the museum but we do encourage everyone to visit the Pier before attempting the quiz.

What an amazing day volunteering at the Museum! It’s lovely to see young children taking part in the quiz and learning things about the past. If we get more and more young people involved who knows what the future of the pier will be like! It was great reading memories and stories of the pier from older generations as well.
